New Delhi, June 6: Three-days special session of the Delhi Assembly will begin here on Wednesday afternoon.

The session, which will kick off around 1400 hrs, is likely to debate and reinforce the demand for full statehood for Delhi..

Rebel Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Kapil Mishra, who had been marshalled out of the Assembly for disrupting proceedings in the House in earlier sessions, launched a fresh attack on the Government, saying,” before full statehood, Delhi needs a full time Chief Minister.”

On May 22, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had informed about the three days special session of the Assembly called by the AAP government to discuss on full ‘statehood’.

‘Delhi Assembly’s 3-days special session of on 6, 7 & 8 June to discuss and decide on the ‘demand of full statehood’ for Delhi. People of Delhi cannot be denied their rights. Looking forward to meaningful debates.’ Mr Sisodia had tweeted.
